Serving the community of Pahoa on the Big Island of Hawaii, Dr. Christopher Lawinski combines proven medical science with holistic health to deliver deeply personal care. As a Board-Certified Integrative and Holistic Medicine physician, he opened his private practice, Hawaii Whole Person Healing, in 2010 to offer better options for people facing complex physical challenges. His main belief is that true health comes from looking at the whole person. Instead of just covering up symptoms, he focuses on your unique biology and uses the best of both modern science and natural therapies.
Dr. Lawinski’s medical expertise is built on a strong academic background and active medical research:
- Education & Training: His education began at Oberlin College in Ohio, where he graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors. Before medical school, he worked in New York as a research assistant at The Rockefeller University. In 2006, he was awarded his medical doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He later finalized his clinical training in 2009 by finishing a Family Medicine residency through the University of Hawaii.
- Board Certifications: Actively board-certified through the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine (ABIHM) and operates as a Certified Chelation Therapy (CCT).
